Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Execution: Execute FX broking for clients and the firm across various currencies and markets, ensuring best execution standards are met.
• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse currency markets, economic data, and geopolitical events to identify trading opportunities and risks.
• Risk Management: Implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard both the firm’s and clients’ positions. Monitor open positions and adjust strategies when necessary.
• Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering market insights, trading strategies, and exceptional service.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on trading performance, market conditions, and portfolio positions to senior management.
• Compliance: Ensure all trading activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other traders, analysts, and support staff to ensure smooth trading operations and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Innovation: Contribute to the development and enhancement of trading systems, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and overall performance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g. CFA, FRM) are advantageous.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in FX Broking or a related field within the financial services sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in trading platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters), strong Excel skills, and familiarity with algorithmic trading and risk management software.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make well-informed trading decisions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate market views and trading strategies to clients and colleagues.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when executing trades and managing positions.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and respond to changing market conditions.
• Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working in a team-oriented environment.
