An international Hedge Fund, an Investment Bank and an established Physical Oil Trading firms based in London, Dubai & Spain are looking expanding their Commodity desks with new experienced Derivative Trader roles.

These exciting opportunities are working with a management investment company with global operations, an Asian Investment Bank and Physical Commodity Trading form and a Spanish based Refinery/Oil Trader.
They specialize in trading various financial instruments, including derivatives in the oil market

Role:
The Oil Trader (Derivatives) will play a pivotal role in executing and managing derivatives trading activities in the oil market. Operating within a fast-paced and competitive environment, the trader will utilize their expertise to capitalize on market opportunities, manage risks, and deliver profitable outcomes for the company.

Derivatives
Trading: Execute trades in oil derivatives markets, including futures, options, and swaps.
Develop and implement trading strategies to capitalize on market trends and arbitrage opportunities.
Monitor market conditions and news events to make informed trading decisions.
Manage positions and exposure effectively to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
Build and maintain relationships with counterparties, brokers, and other market participants.
Collaborate with internal teams, including research, operations, and compliance, to ensure smooth execution of trades and adherence to policies.

Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in derivatives trading, preferably in the oil market, with a track record of success.
Excellent understanding of derivatives pricing models, risk management techniques, and trading

strategies.
Knowledge of global energy markets, including supply chains, refining operations, and trading infrastructure.
